No l do not offer any money back guarantee and no other therapist should. You will need to put some effort in to the therapy and take some responsibility for your own smoking habit. Q. Will l need to put effort in?
Yes you do. Hypnosis is just an aid to help you to stop smoking it will help you, but will not do it for you. There is no reason why it will not work for you providing you are willing to put effort in, hypnosis is not a magic wand If you feel that stopping smoking is not worth a months worth of cigarettes then you are wasting your time.
Q. Do you use patches, pill's zyban or anything else to help me?
If you want drugs or more nicotine go to the NHS FREE service and gradually wean yourself off the cigarettes then the patches.
Come to me when you have failed to quit and I will tell you why!
Q. Why is it so expensive?
I charge for my expertise and experience and my time. I consider that your investment works out to be roughly a months worth of the cost of smoking. This does not include the cost to your health..what price would you place on your health?
If you ring around then you will find that my fees are competitive to most Qualified and Nationally Registered Hypnotherapists. Some charge the same fee in total but over more sessions.
For those who would like the opportunity to quit with a small group , maybe a group of friends or work colleagues, I run group sessions for roughly a third of the cost per attendee of my bespoke one to one program. Please enquire via email.

ARE YOU RIPPING ME OFF?
* It's written into every professional hypnotherapy organisations' code of conduct that practitioners must not guarantee a "cure" of any condition. There is a good reason for this. When working with any difficulty there is no "one size fits all" treatment. That's not a failing on our part as therapists, compare this with the idea of a failing of the part of the NHS when the patches do not work.
Can any medical establishment guarantee to "cure" people? No. Clearly not....or there would be no suffering! Like the NHS, or any other quit smoking service, we increase your chance of success. When it comes to whether you will or won't quit smoking though, it's a simpler matter. This is the bottom line : Nobody but YOU can guarantee that you'll quit smoking.
People who "guarantee" that they'll "make you quit smoking" are clever marketers. These guarantees usually state that you can come back as many times as you need to for "top ups". Some will offer your money back (with time limited conditions of course) knowing that many wouldn't claim it even if they didn't quit, and that the premium loading from the guarantee will more than cover any people who do claim refunds anyway. Of course they will expect a good level of success too so their "risk" is minimised from the start.
Nobody offers you a deal where they lose money. If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is!
Would you claim your money back after the therapist has repeatedly stressed that ultimately it's YOUR decision to quit or not? So, I'm not saying guarantees are unethical. They are just therapy where you pay extra for an extended warranty that you may or may not use. In most cases you will never use it. Ethical practitioners belonging to good hypnotherapy associations (APHP, HS, NCP, NCH ,GHR etc) will not offer guarantees, "cures", or testimonials, as these are all contrary to the professional code of conduct, and are specifically disallowed because they have the potential for misuse. Testimonials for instance could easilsy be forged.
On occasion I get calls from people who are trying to trace a Hypnotherapist who offered a lifetime guarantee for their services, I always offer my sympathy and tell them that anyone can set up in business and advertise a FREE listing on Yell.com or Yellow Pages. In fact I am constantly pestered by advertising groups who never check MY credent ials but are very happy to take my money to promote me . They even try to guarantee to put me on the top of Google...which by being proficient and having many internet visitors I have done myself!
I pay a high rental for my office Suite in Rochester High Street, would I commit to this high fee if I was not commited to help my clients in every way I can using all my training experience and resources? I rely on referrals and get a good many from ex smokers.I am not here today and gone tomorrow and intend to be working well into my retirement!
